This is the first layout for Ten Thousand Pixels. It features Amu Hinamori from the Shugo Chara series. I'm not actually following the series, but I found this picture on Aethereality and I thought it's cute and began working for a layout with it.
I restrained myself from using any other resources (textures, brushes, etc) for this layout. So I had to make the layout simple, but neat, without any complicated effects. It ended up with so much pink. I know some visitors may not like it, but I didn't want to recolor and recode the whole thing.
The layout was made with Photoshop 7.0 (I don't have any newer versions) and coded with Notepad and FrontPage. It took two days - one day for the design and one for the coding. I've tested it on Firefox and IE with 800x600, 1024x768 and 1400x1050 screen resolution. On IE, you can see a colored scrollbar.
I'm quite happy with the result, though it's not what exactly I was planning for. I hope visitors will like it too =]
